A Football Day

Saturday, Sept. 27
I totally forgot to take pictures at Austin's game this morning. My Aunt Linda and cousin Karrie came to watch Austin's game because it was right by Linda's house. It was a lot of fun to have them come watch with their kids.

This is Ian #44 getting ready to punt the ball. Troy and Brittany came to watch Ian's game. He was really excited to have people at his game. Thanks everyone for supporting the boys today!

After Ian's game we headed to the Utes game. We rode Trax to the game. Greg and I laughed so hard at the before and after Trax pictures. Austin was out cold.

Here are a couple of shots during the game. We had a lot of fun watching the Utes play Weber.

From One Circus to Another

We love it when the circus is in town! Jillian talked about seeing the elephants all day - she was so excited! We went to the Friday matinee and the kids all loved it, although Austin informed me that this would probably be the last time he would go because he is getting too old for this.

September fun

Kindergarten Circus Day
Alli dressed up as a clown for circus day. She was so excited at home, but when we pulled up to the school, she saw a couple of kids who were not dressed up. Man, did the tears start flowing. This picture is before she cried all her make-up off. I couldn't get her to go into the school, and I was in my pajamas. I ran home, threw on some clothes, jetted back to school, and dragged Alli into her class. Once inside, she was okay because there were lots of clowns, elephants, tigers, and monkeys.

BYU Game
Uncle Ryan took Austin and Ian to a football game on Sept 20. The boys had a lot of fun. They even won a t-shirt and a padded seat at a football toss before the game. Thanks Ryan for taking the boys.

My Busy Life

Tackle Football and soccer are pretty much our life right now. The boys are having a lot of fun playing football, but man, is it time consuming. Austin practices Mon, Wed, Thurs and has games on Saturday. Ian practices Tues, Wed, Fri and has games on Saturday. Sooo, we are doing football 6 days a week. To top it off, Alli has soccer practice on Mon and games on Tues. Good thing they are having fun because football ends around Halloween.
Austin and Ian both play tight end and running back. Ian is also the kicker for his team. It's been fun to see how much they have improved and learned the last couple of months.

Alli is such an aggressive ball player. Her first game, she scored 7 goals. She has consistantly scored about 5 goals every game and is a huge ball hog. We've been trying to teach her how to pass the ball to the other kids.

The Fair

The kids get out of school at 1:15 on Fridays, so we went to the state fair with our friends, Jason and Mayumi Johnson. The kids had fun sliding on this huge slide. I wish I had some pictures of Greg's favorite activity. He ate so much junk: fried snickers, chili fries, BBQ and corn on the cob, funnel cake. He didn't stop the whole time we were there.

Alli and Jillian are dancing to the band music.

Cheesin' it for the camera!

School has begun

The boys started school on August 25. Austin's a big 4th grader and Ian is in 3rd. Alli didn't start kindergarten until after Labor Day, but I added all the pictures together. Alli was very ready to start full day kindergarten, and I don't know what I'm going to do with my day. I have three kids gone all day. Poor Jillian! We've got to get a play group started for her.
